What did they do to that poor bugeye? What did it ever do to deserve that?

Meh. They’re both climbing to the point of “no fucks given” builds that actually involve a lot of fucks and a lot of money. I miss the MCM driveway budget stuff.

I am assuming MCM built the WRX? If so it is going to be boring for the roadkill guys (MCM tends to do things at least halfway right). Going to be great to watch the MCM guys deal with a roadkill car.

Roadkill has always been throwing some nice parts at their beaters. I’ll be concerned the day they do some bodywork beyond cutting holes in things.

As much as I hate to admit it.....I stopped caring about MCM’s newest stuff. Pretty much everything after gramps got “left outside” (if that was even what really happened) just feels forced. Some of the magic is there but it feels like ever since they got an actual workshop and are trying to do more serious builds it’s fallen flat. I guess I did like following the mini build and occasional episodes are still fun (180SX came back?!?!?! MAAAAD!) but it isn’t the “I NEED TO WATCH IT ALL RIGHT NOW” that it used to be for me. ANd this is coming form someone who slammed an beer-label-bombed a mk3 VW after watching their build on it.

I still watch all of both MCM and Roadkill but I feel they’ve both gone a bit sterile as they’ve gone more up market with the parts and cars. Either way, I do miss the bargain basement specials.

The Beetle WRX build was pretty neat, though, I’ll have to admit.

I dunno. The turbo out the hood of the WRX seems very roadkill.

i’m an independent filmmaker working on a project about delivery drivers and car culture in america, does anyone know how to get in touch with either roadkill or mcm ... WITHOUT USING SOCIAL MEDIA???

But roadkill would never build something from the 21st century, let alone a modern import.

No. Social media is about it.

Possibly. Although Roadkill building a WRX and MCM building a late 60s GM product would be one hell of a cool twist.

That’s cheating. they already took the hood off.

Roadkill is still roadkill which is to say still amazing. Today they released the newest episode where they’re towing a motor on a trailer that is just used to power a big supercharger to boost the monza......they call it the “Boost caboose”.
I have a very explainable boner right now.

See that might be great but I thought the same about the Cummins and the Showdown. However both were massive let downs. Like I said they feel sterile like they had to do them as opposed to wanting to.
I mean they could of done something new but they’re revisiting an old idea they know works. let’s hope there is more to then how much more boost can we make.

Aww hell yes.
